Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Bookbinder Operator.*Manually boxing and palletizing finished products. Strap pallets for shipping *Cut paper stock to required sizes for the printing presses *Fold printed sheets into signatures for finished booklets *Collate, insert - gathering and bind sheets into complete booklets using saddle-stitch finishing machines *Must be able to examine stitched or bound books to ensure that pages are bound in numerical or folio order *Must ensure that assigned work is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with the work order
Requirements: Must have knowledge of (or willingness to learn) how to set up and operate various xerographic and commercial grade bindery equipment*MBO Folder: B-26-54 Perfection *Schneider Senator 45' hydraulic Paper Cutter *Fotoba slitter / cutter *Thiessen Bonitz 20 Packet Collator *Challenge 3 hole Paper Drill *GFP 62' laminator machine *Beseler Heat-Seal Wrapping Machine *Canon imagepress Heavy Duty Copier Minimum 5 years experience L.
